Apple Freezes iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods Prices While Raising Mac and iPad Costs on June 25

According to its pricing update on Thursday, June 25, Apple maintained prices on iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, and AirTag while raising prices on other products. HomePod mini increased from $99 to $129, iPad Air from $599 to $749, and iPad Pro from $999 to $1,199. Mac and Vision Pro also saw price hikes.

CEO Tim Cook attributed the selective price increases to surging memory and storage chip costs driven by AI demand, describing the supply tightness as a "hundred-year flood." The company kept flagship product prices unchanged ahead of expected new iPhone launches in September. Apple's stock fell over 6% to $275.15 on Thursday, marking its largest single-day decline since April 2025.
