HYPE-5%
Arthur Hayes, BitMEX co-founder, said he has sold his entire Hyperliquid and Near positions, citing macro risks tied to higher energy costs from geopolitical tensions, expected large AI IPOs, and concerns that President Donald Trump may turn against artificial intelligence as a political strategy. According to on-chain tracker Lookonchain, Hayes sold 247,334 HYPE tokens worth approximately $18.02 million. Hayes stated he will release a detailed explanation in an essay titled "Reality Test" next Tuesday. He indicated the market could peak between now and September, prompting him to take profits despite previously predicting HYPE could reach $150.
