At Least 36 Commercial Ships Transit Hormuz Strait on June 22, Marking Post-Conflict Peak

According to data from shipping analysis firm Kpler cited by AFP, at least 36 commercial vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz on June 22, marking the highest single-day figure since the outbreak of Iran conflict in late February. The volume represents recovery to approximately one-third of pre-conflict transit levels.

On June 23, two supertankers previously stranded in the Persian Gulf passed through the strait, each carrying 2 million barrels of crude oil, according to data from the London Stock Exchange Group and Kpler.
