Aztec Connect Router Contract Attacked; $2.19M in Assets Transferred, Says Foundation

According to Aztec Foundation's statement on X, Aztec Connect's Router contract was attacked earlier today (June 15), with approximately $2.19 million in assets transferred out. The foundation clarified that Aztec Connect has been discontinued for three years and is no longer affiliated with the current Aztec network or its AZTEC ERC20 token-related smart contracts. Aztec Labs no longer maintains any control over the system and cannot pause or upgrade it.
