Binance Denies EU License Application Will Be Rejected by Greece, Says Watchdog Has Not Formally Opposed Filing

According to Reuters, Binance denied reports that its European Union license application submitted to Greek regulators will be rejected. A company spokesperson stated that Binance has maintained constructive communication with the watchdog over the past 18 months, submitted a complete application meeting the EU's MiCA framework requirements, and that Greek regulators have completed their review and determined the filing complies with regulations. However, Binance noted the watchdog has not formally expressed opposition to the application.
