According to Greeks.live data, approximately 25,600 Bitcoin options and 155,000 Ethereum options expired on June 5, with a combined notional value of $1.89 billion. Bitcoin traded near $60,000 during the expiry, with BTC options carrying a put-call ratio of 0.56 and max pain level near $70,500, while Ethereum options showed a put-call ratio of 0.92 and max pain near $2,000. The expiry occurred amid one of the weakest weeks for digital assets in months, with increased hedging demand as traders protected against further losses below key support levels.
