Bitcoin Falls to $64,890 Amid Market Pressure Despite BlackRock's New Income ETF Launch

BTC-2.08%

Bitcoin is trading at $64,890 today, down 2.62% over the past 24 hours as selling pressure continues. BlackRock launched its iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF (BITA) aimed at providing BTC exposure with monthly income from options premiums, but the move did not halt the broader decline.

Market cap stands at approximately $1.3 trillion, with 24-hour trading volume dropping 23% to $24.44 billion. Analyst Ali Charts noted that Bitcoin whales accumulated over 30,000 BTC during the past week despite the weakness. However, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $64.09 million in net outflows on June 15, with Grayscale's GBTC accounting for $124.01 million in exits, adding downward pressure to the market.
