Bitcoin Hardware Wallet Maker Foundation Completes $6.4M Funding Round, Launches Passport Prime

According to The Block, Bitcoin hardware wallet manufacturer Foundation completed a $6.4 million Series funding round led by Fulgur Ventures, with Arche Capital participating, on May 21. The funding brings Foundation's total raised to $16.5 million. The company plans to expand beyond self-custody wallets into identity authentication, multi-factor authentication, and AI agent authorization. Concurrently, Foundation launched its flagship Passport Prime device with KeyOS platform SDK access for developers. The device integrates hardware wallet functionality, FIDO security key, 2FA storage, confidential vault, and 50 GB encrypted storage.
