Bitcoin OG Investors' Sales Hit Two-Year Low at 962 BTC Average, Easing Market Sell Pressure

BTC-0.30%
According to CoinDesk, citing CryptoQuant data, long-term bitcoin holders who have owned BTC for over five years have significantly reduced sell-offs in recent weeks. Their 90-day average bitcoin sales volume has fallen to 962 BTC, marking the lowest level since November 2024. The reduction comes as bitcoin trades around $63,000, approaching the cost basis of these OG investors from five years ago, encouraging them to hold rather than sell. Spot ETF outflows have also slowed over the past two weeks, indicating weakening selling pressure.
