CFTC: Speculators Reduce 10-Year Treasury Futures Net Short Position by 66,885 Contracts in Week Ending May 19

According to CFTC data, as of the week ending May 19, speculators increased their net short positions in CBOT 10-year U.S. Treasury futures by 66,885 contracts to 848,052, while decreasing positions in 2-year Treasury futures by 41,775 contracts to 1,560,837. Net short positions in ultra-long-dated Treasury futures rose by 15,470 contracts to 254,464, and 5-year Treasury futures positions declined by 11,629 contracts to 1,350,516.
