China to Strengthen Coordination Between Computing Network and Power, Telecom Infrastructure in 15th Five-Year Plan

According to Li Chao, vice director of the Policy Research Office at China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030), the country will enhance alignment between computing power supply and demand, strengthening coordinated development of the computing network with new power grids and next-generation telecommunications networks. The NDRC will explore integrated computing-electricity cooperation models to reduce network transmission latency and promote computing power optimization through power infrastructure improvements.
