China's Transport Ministry Expands AI Integration and Enterprise Compliance Framework on May 21

According to a State Council Information Office press briefing on May 21, China's Ministry of Transportation announced its next steps to strengthen regulatory standards. Lin Qiang, Director of the Ministry's Legal Affairs Division, stated that the ministry will expand the enterprise inspection grading and classification system and promote an "artificial intelligence plus transportation" initiative to better support transport enterprises.
