Chinese Stocks Decline 1.5-2.5% on May 14, While European and U.S. Indices Rise

According to Jin10, on May 14, Chinese stock indices declined broadly, with the Shanghai Composite falling 1.52% to 4,177.92 points, the Shenzhen Component dropping 2.14% to 15,745.74 points, and the ChiNext Index declining 2.16% to 3,951.14 points. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index remained flat at 26,389.04 points.

Meanwhile, European indices advanced across the board, with Germany’s DAX30 up 1.46%, France’s CAC40 gaining 0.93%, and the Stoxx 50 rising 1.19%. U.S. markets also showed modest gains, with the Dow Jones up 0.75%, the S&P 500 gaining 0.77%, and the Nasdaq Composite advancing 0.88%.
