Crypto Liquidations Hit $1.686 Billion in 24 Hours, Long Positions Account for $1.37 Billion

According to Coinglass data cited by ChainCatcher, $1.686 billion worth of positions were liquidated across crypto markets in the past 24 hours, with long liquidations accounting for $1.37 billion and short liquidations $316 million. Bitcoin long positions saw $610 million in liquidations versus $177 million in shorts, while Ethereum recorded $288 million in long liquidations and $68.85 million in shorts. The largest single liquidation occurred on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD pair, valued at $16.1984 million, affecting a total of 282,146 traders.
