According to Coinglass data cited by ChainCatcher, $85.34 million in positions were liquidated across the market in the past 24 hours (May 17), with long liquidations accounting for $44.95 million and short liquidations for $40.39 million. Bitcoin long liquidations reached $15.19 million while short liquidations totaled $11.28 million. Ethereum long liquidations amounted to $7.03 million with short liquidations at $5.93 million.
