EU to Ban Privacy Coins and Anonymous Accounts From July 2027, Sets €1,000 KYC Threshold

According to CryptoNews, the EU will implement revised anti-money laundering (AML) regulations starting July 10, 2027. The new rules will require crypto asset service providers to conduct stricter Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures for transactions exceeding €1,000. Anonymous accounts and services related to privacy coins will be comprehensively prohibited across the EU.
