Federal Reserve Holds 60.4% Probability in July; 49.6% Chance of 25 Basis Points Rate Hike by September

According to CME FedWatch Tool data released on June 19, the Federal Reserve has a 60.4% probability of keeping interest rates unchanged in July, with a 39.6% probability of a 25 basis point rate hike. For the September meeting, the market is pricing in a 31.2% probability of no change, a 49.6% probability of a cumulative 25 basis point hike, and a 19.1% probability of a cumulative 50 basis point hike.
