GateNews

According to Alice Lefebvre, France’s Defense Ministry representative, the French Navy’s Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier has arrived and deployed in the Arabian Sea today (May 15) to prepare for multi-national escort operations in the Strait of Hormuz. Lefebvre stated that France’s position is to provide conditions for restoring transit through the strait in a manner that is entirely “defensive” and “consistent with international law.”
