Franklin Templeton Files Two Bitcoin DRIP ETFs with SEC on June 18; $1.78T Asset Manager Allocates 5% to BTC

According to an SEC filing submitted on June 18, Franklin Templeton, a $1.78 trillion asset manager, filed to launch two new Bitcoin DRIP (dividend reinvestment) ETFs: the Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF and the Franklin US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF. The funds would track dividend-paying equity indices and reinvest those dividends into Bitcoin. Each ETF will allocate 95% of assets to U.S. large-cap equities and 5% to Bitcoin exposure via exchange-traded products, futures contracts, or other BTC-linked financial instruments.
