Michael Novogratz's Galaxy Digital faced a court hearing this week against BitGo CEO Mike Belshe over a failed $1.2 billion merger deal proposed in 2021. BitGo is demanding Galaxy pay at least $100 million for withdrawing from what was the largest crypto industry transaction ever announced. BitGo claims Galaxy failed to use reasonable efforts to complete the deal and withheld details of U.S. regulatory investigations that would have affected the merger's completion.
