Grayscale Files Hyperliquid ETF With 0.29% Fee, Launch Expected This Week

HYPE-0.92%
According to Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart, Grayscale filed a sixth amendment to its S-1 registration on June 1, clearing the way for its Hyperliquid ETF launch within the week. The new product, ticker HYPG, will carry a sponsor fee of 0.29%, positioning it as the lowest-cost HYPE-linked ETF alongside Bitwise's BHYP (0.34% after promotional period) and 21Shares' THYP (0.30%). The token itself hit an all-time high of $73.48 on June 1, with market cap surpassing $18.4 billion and 24-hour volume reaching $1.3 billion. Grayscale's arrival signals institutional capital access to HYPE exposure, though traders are watching a $684 million token unlock scheduled for June 6 that may pressure the price.
