Hezbollah Rejects Partial Ceasefire with Israel, Both Sides Continue Attacks on June 2

According to BlockBeats, on June 2, Hezbollah senior official Mahmoud Kumati rejected any partial ceasefire agreement with Israel, stating the group would only accept a complete and comprehensive cessation of hostilities. Kumati emphasized that Hezbollah and its allies would not accept a deal limited to Israeli military halting strikes on southern Beirut in exchange for Hezbollah stopping attacks on Israel's northern settlements.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, Israeli forces continued airstrikes on southern Lebanese towns including Doueir and Nabatieh on June 2, killing at least 12 people and wounding 4, including Lebanese military personnel. Hezbollah said its armed members launched retaliatory strikes against Israeli troops in southern Lebanon early on June 2.
