According to Humanity's official announcement, the project discontinued its original H tokens deployed across Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Humanity Mainnet following a recent attack, and announced a 1:1 airdrop of new ERC-20 H tokens to eligible holders. The distribution is based on a snapshot taken on June 8, 2026 at 17:25:35 UTC, with block heights 25,274,179 (Ethereum), 103,071,069 (BNB Chain), and 24,247,803 (Humanity Mainnet).
Humanity established a compensation fund to handle special cases including third-party protocol integrations and liquidity provider position differences. All compensation claims require KYC and AML verification, as the attack is attributed to a North Korea-linked hacking group. The project plans to restart Humanity Mainnet within weeks, where the new H token will serve as the native gas token.
