Iran Unveils U.S. Counterproposal on May 19, Demands Military Withdrawal and Nuclear Rights

According to Reuters and Iran’s official channels, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Garibaev unveiled on May 19 Iran’s counterproposal in ongoing negotiations with the United States. The proposal includes Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy, ending all regional conflicts including Lebanon, lifting U.S. naval blockades, unfreezing Iranian assets, U.S. compensation for war damages and reconstruction needs, terminating all unilateral sanctions, and withdrawal of U.S. military forces from surrounding regions.
