Israeli Officials Warn of Strong Response to Hezbollah Attack on June 27

According to Israeli security officials, on June 27 Israel was on high alert to prevent a potential attack by Lebanon's Hezbollah that could undermine a recently signed framework agreement. Israeli officials stated they would respond with "severe and strong measures" to any assault by Hezbollah.

Earlier that day, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem condemned the framework agreement reached between the U.S., Israel, and Lebanon, calling it invalid.
