According to Michael Saylor on X, MicroStrategy founder and executive chairman is urging shareholders to vote on making perpetual preferred shares STRC the world’s only semi-monthly dividend security among approximately 24,000 dividend-paying securities. If approved, the proposal would establish a “$100 standard” in the digital credit sector. STRC was designed to maintain a trading price near the $100 par value to ensure continuous capital raising via an at-the-market offering mechanism.
