Nvidia N1X CPU Performance Lags Apple M3 by Two Years, AppleInsider Analysis Shows

According to AppleInsider, Nvidia's first Arm-based PC processor N1X, unveiled at Computex 2026, lags behind Apple's Apple Silicon by approximately two years in CPU performance. Leaked Geekbench data from engineering samples shows N1X achieving single-core scores of around 3,096 and multi-core scores of approximately 18,837, compared to Apple's M3 Max single-core score of 3,128 and multi-core score of 20,969. The analysis notes that while N1X features 20 CPU cores, its single-core performance is roughly equivalent to the M3 series released in 2023, falling short of the current M5 generation.
