According to Jin10 Data, as of June 7, over 100 vessels remained anchored in the Strait of Hormuz, with most being cargo ships that have been stranded for weeks. Crews continue living aboard while receiving supplies via speedboats. Despite some vessels resuming transit, shipping activity remains far below pre-conflict levels. In the broader Persian Gulf, hundreds of commercial vessels and approximately 20,000 seafarers remain stuck. Full restoration of normal traffic through the strait remains uncertain.
