According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Russia's armed forces launched a large-scale strike against Ukraine from late June 1 to early June 2, utilizing air-based, ground-based, and sea-based precision-guided weapons including hypersonic ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The targets included Ukrainian defense industry facilities, fuel storage and transportation infrastructure, and military airfields.
