According to CCTV, Russian President Vladimir Putin reported on May 15 that government stimulus measures have begun showing results, with March data pointing to broad economic improvement. Retail sales grew 6.2% in March, manufacturing expanded 3%, industrial output rose 2.3%, and GDP grew 1.8%, Putin said during an economic policy conference.
