According to Coin Bureau, SpaceX's market capitalization reached approximately $2.52 trillion on June 18, briefly surpassing the entire cryptocurrency market valued at $2.19 trillion. The aerospace company's valuation has surged following its June 12 IPO on Nasdaq under the ticker SPCX, which raised $75 billion at an offering price of $135 per share.
SpaceX also announced plans to acquire AI coding startup Cursor's parent company, Anysphere, in a $60 billion all-stock transaction. The deal will be funded using shares from the recent IPO. Founded in 2002, SpaceX operates Starlink, a major satellite internet network, and is developing the Starship program for future space missions.
