Speculators' Yen Net Short Positions Hit 2.5-Year High on CFTC Data

According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), speculators held yen net short positions at a new high for the week of June 2, the highest level since July 2024. Leveraged traders maintained 105,136 yen short contracts worth approximately $8.2 billion.
