Texas Brothers Plead Guilty to Armed $8M Crypto Robbery in Minnesota

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, on June 18, 2026, Isiah Angelo Garcia, 25, and Raymond Christian Garcia, 24, pleaded guilty to interference with commerce by robbery. The brothers forced a Grant, Minnesota family to transfer over $8 million in cryptocurrency during a September 19, 2025, home invasion. Prosecutors said the victims were zip-tied and held at gunpoint for over 8 hours while the defendants demanded access to cryptocurrency accounts. Both defendants face up to 20 years in federal prison and must pay more than $8 million in restitution.
