Tornadoes Sweep U.S. Midwest, Killing 1 and Injuring 4 on June 11

According to CCTV International, on June 11, tornadoes and severe storms swept across multiple U.S. states including Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa, leaving at least 1 person dead and 4 injured. Streat, Illinois was hit hardest, with homes destroyed and residents trapped. By late June 11, over 650,000 households and businesses in the U.S. Midwest and Northeast lost power due to the severe weather.

Additional flooding risks were forecast for Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana through the early morning of June 12.
