UAE Approves Ban on Social Media Use for Children Under 15 on June 18, Becoming First Arab Nation With Such Measure

According to CCTV News, the United Arab Emirates approved on June 18 a regulation setting the minimum age for social media use at 15 years old. Children under 15 are prohibited from creating, registering, or operating personal social media accounts, and cannot post content, comment, share information, or join public groups. The UAE becomes the first Arab nation to implement such restrictions.
