On May 21 (Thursday), U.S. stock indexes opened lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 214.82 points, or 0.43%, to 49,794.53. The S&P 500 fell 34.32 points, or 0.46%, to 7,398.65. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 130.26 points, or 0.50%, to 26,140.10.
