According to Foresight News, World announced it has entered the third phase of 'The Simple Plan,' shifting from early-stage token incentives to utility-driven growth. World ID 4.0 now includes a fee mechanism allowing credential issuers and protocols to charge users, while end users retain free protocol access. The focus spans three key scenarios: enterprise partnerships (including Deep Face with Zoom, Okta, and DocuSign), consumer verification (Tinder human authentication, Concert Kit for real-ticket concert reservations), and AI Agents (AgentKit for human delegation and verification). On the hardware front, next-generation Orb devices will transition to self-service mode, targeting 95% autonomous operation by end of 2026.
