Gate News message, April 21 — WTI crude oil (U.S. light sweet crude futures benchmark) surged to $92 per barrel, gaining nearly 4% intraday. Brent crude oil (North Sea benchmark) rose 3.65%, trading at $93.68 per barrel.

Both benchmarks continued their upward momentum throughout the trading session.
