China's Monitored Ports See Cargo Throughput Fall 7.96% for Week of June 1-7 to 258.7M Tons

According to the Ministry of Transport, monitored ports completed cargo throughput of 258.7 million tons during June 1-7, down 7.96% week-over-week, with container throughput at 6.727 million TEU, down 3.65%. National railways transported 80.066 million tons of freight, down 0.04%, while highways handled 54.349 million trucks, down 1.85%.

Civil aviation provided 107,000 flight operations (including 5,137 cargo flights), down 3.1%. Postal and express services recorded collection volume of approximately 4.324 billion parcels, down 1.5%, and delivery volume of 4.287 billion parcels, down 2.37%.
