China's Seven Departments Release Action Plan to Open Computing Resources for 2026-2028

According to Odaily, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and six other departments recently released the "Action Plan to Promote Coordinated Development of Large, Medium, and Small Enterprises in Platform Economy (2026-2028)." The plan aims to accelerate high-quality development of computing infrastructure and promote interconnection of computing resources. Key initiatives include: opening computing resources, establishing computing resource pooling and interconnection systems, and guiding platform enterprises to integrate distributed computing resources and regulated platforms. The departments also plan to build a unified national computing monitoring and scheduling service platform, and enhance token (digital asset) accessibility services to lower adoption barriers for small and medium enterprises.
