Chinese Carriers Cut Domestic Flight Fuel Surcharges Effective June 5, Down to CNY 80-150 Per Segment

According to Jin10, Chinese airlines including Air China will reduce fuel surcharges on domestic flights effective June 5, 2026. Starting 0:00 on that date, flights under 800 kilometers will charge CNY 80 per segment, while flights over 800 kilometers will charge CNY 150 per segment. This represents a reduction of CNY 10 and CNY 20 respectively compared to current rates. Infants travel free of surcharge, while children and eligible personnel receive a 50% discount.
