Colombia's presidential runoff voting began on June 21. Voters are choosing between Alvebrado de la Espriella, an independent candidate backed by the far-right political group "Defenders of the Fatherland," and Ivan Sépeda, the candidate of the left-wing governing coalition "Colombian Historical Pact Alliance." Voting commenced at 8 a.m. and will close at 4 p.m., followed by the counting process. Preliminary results are expected to be released later in the evening. The winner will serve a term from 2026 to 2030.
