DI Corp Enters SK Hynix HBM4 Supply Chain, Stock Surges 20.9% in One Week

DI Corp (003160-KS), the semiconductor equipment company controlled by Park Won-ho, father of South Korean artist PSY, this week saw volatile price swings as its subsidiary Digital Frontier secured a position in SK Hynix's (000660-KS) HBM4 supply chain. The subsidiary provides wafer testing equipment, conducting functional inspections before wafers are cut into individual chips, a critical role as high-bandwidth memory (HBM) capacity remains constrained and costly. DI's stock dropped over 12% on June 8, then rebounded 19.4% the following day, ultimately gaining approximately 20.9% for the week and closing above the 28,000 won mark. The stock has climbed roughly 68% over the past year.
