South Korean digital financial services provider Dozen and the Solana Foundation formalized a strategic partnership on June 19 through a Memorandum of Understanding to develop advanced Web3 payment infrastructure. The collaboration covers four key areas: stablecoin-based payment and settlement systems utilizing U.S. dollar-backed stablecoins with Delivery versus Payment (DvP) models; international remittance services designed to lower costs and accelerate cross-border transactions; AI-driven commerce solutions enabling autonomous payment and settlement; and real-world asset tokenization opportunities across South Korean and global markets.

The signing ceremony included Dozen CEO Cho Chul-han, Solana Foundation Asia-Pacific Business Development Head Lu Yin, and Solana Foundation Korea General Manager Lee Sung-san. Lu Yin stated that building a borderless Web3 payment ecosystem in South Korea represented an important milestone for leveraging Solana's high-performance blockchain technology.
