Five Hyperscalers Raise $255.34B, Plan $750B AI Data Center Spending by Year-End

According to S&P Global Market Intelligence, five major tech companies—Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, and Oracle—raised $255.34 billion through equity and debt offerings as of June 2026. The companies have pledged to spend approximately three-quarters of a trillion dollars on AI data centers by year-end, per Barron's. Unlike the other four profitable tech giants, Oracle has been on a borrowing binge to fund its AI ambitions, facing skepticism from investors. Additionally, SpaceX is expected to raise at least $85 billion through its IPO, with plans for orbital AI data centers, while two more AI companies are planning stock debuts this year.
