According to SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International), global semiconductor manufacturing equipment sales reached $36.55 billion in Q1 2026, up 14% year-over-year and 1% quarter-over-quarter, marking a new quarterly record. China, South Korea, and Taiwan accounted for the top three markets with $10.99 billion, $8.93 billion, and $8.77 billion respectively, collectively representing over 70% of global equipment spending.
