Hamas Delegation Arrives in Cairo on June 5 to Discuss Gaza Ceasefire Implementation

According to Hamas statement, the Palestinian Islamist movement's leadership delegation arrived in Cairo on June 5, led by senior official Khalil Hayya. Beginning June 6, the delegation will meet with mediators and Egyptian officials to discuss implementation of the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, aiming to halt Israeli military operations in Gaza and establish mechanisms for advancing to the second phase negotiations.
