According to Jin10 data, Iran shot down a U.S. Apache helicopter conducting patrol operations over the Strait of Hormuz on June 10. Both pilots aboard were safely rescued without injury, according to President Trump's statement. Trump said the U.S. must respond to the attack and emphasized the response should be "very strong and powerful." In a separate development, Trump told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directly to exercise his own judgment on military actions against Iran while expressing hope not to damage ongoing agreements, according to ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl.
