Japan Finalizes 31.1 Trillion Yen Supplementary Budget on June 2

According to Jin10, Japan's government finalized its 2026 fiscal supplementary budget on June 2, with general account expenditures of 31,135 billion yen to be financed entirely through deficit bond issuance.

The cabinet is scheduled to officially approve the budget on June 3 and submit it to parliament for review, with approval expected by June 5.
