Nvidia and SK Hynix Sign Multi-Year Partnership on June 8, to Co-Develop Next-Gen Memory for AI

According to official statements announced on June 8, Nvidia and SK Hynix signed a multi-year technology partnership focused on developing next-generation memory for Nvidia AI accelerators and expanding AI infrastructure including semiconductor manufacturing and data centers. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated SK Hynix "will continue to be our largest memory partner," and the company's upcoming AI platforms—Vera Rubin, Vera CPU, RTX Spark, and Jetson Thor—will all use SK Hynix chips. The partnership includes SK Telecom's plans to build gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure, with the first AI factory projected to launch in South Korea in 2027.
